Spanish Queen Letizia visits Dominican Republic

President Danilo Medina receives Spanish Queen Letizia in the National Palace.

She arrived in the country on Sunday and visited the province of Monte Plata, one of the poorest in the country, on Monday morning. Letizia also accompanied the first lady Cándida de Montilla to the Center for Comprehensive Care for Disability (CAID) and chaired an event with Spanish aid workers to commemorate the 30th anniversary of humanitarian aid in the Dominican Republic.
