Family of Italians who isolated in RD hospital is free of coronavirus

The Minister of Public Health, Rafael Sánchez Cárdenas, reported that the family of the four Italians admitted to the isolation area of the Ramón de Lara military hospital was discharged, after verifying that he does not have the COVID-19.

Cárdenas said the family was detected influenza A and B, a virus that is circulating in the country.

The information was released in an interview conducted in the Matinal Focus program, CDN 37, the minister recalled that there is not yet a local case of coronavirus, but we must be prevented.

He stressed that so far only the case of the Italian citizen who was diagnosed last Sunday, who is at the Ramón de Lara Hospital, and who is eating enough and is being treated is registered in the Dominican Republic.
