The journalist and writer of Peruvian origin, Jaime Bayly denounced on Monday night that soldiers of the Chavez regime are financing the political campaign of former President of the Republic Leonel Fernandez and said they have made donations through the Global Democracy and Development Foundation ( Funglode).

Bayly said that the Venezuelan captain Carlos Aguilera, who owns two villas in Casa de Campo, in La Romana valued at 15 million dollars, donated 400 thousand dollars to Funglode through the Swiss banker and frontman Fernandez, Chals Henrris and through the Venezuelan María Eugenia Mosquera.

He also assured that Venezuelan banker Víctor Vargas gave $ 100,000 to Carlos Gil Ramírez in Casa de Campo, which were also for Leonel Fernández.

Through the program The Observer, Bayly said that the Venezuelan detainee in Spain, Adrián Velázquez has made two deliveries for the Fernandez campaign, one at the beginning of April for an amount of 300 thousand dollars turned to George Nader and another on 19 April for $ 200,000 in cash received by Omar Fernández in the presence of Nader.

“I am in a position to affirm that at least 4 million dirty dollars have come in from money stolen in the Leonel Fernandez campaign, in its Funglode foundation,” said Bayly.

Another denunciation that Bayly made is that frequently the country is arriving clandestine private flights coming almost all of Venezuela, which are coordinated by two military men who were bodyguards of Leonel Fernandez during his mandate of 2004.

According to Bayly’s statements, these soldiers are General Víctor Crispín and General Héctor Belisario Medina y Medina, to whom the United States has withdrawn the visa and is requesting his extradition for being linked to drug trafficking.

“Héctor Belisario Medina is the sponsor and accomplice of clandestine private flights that land in La Española from Venezuela loaded with drugs. These two soldiers belong to the most intimate circle of Fernandez, “he added.

Finally, he deplored that large ill-gotten fortunes of Chavism have settled in the Dominican Republic to finance the Fernandez campaign, money that belongs to the Venezuelan treasury.
