The information was confirmed to that Colombian newspaper by General Henry Sanabria, commander of the Police in Cartagena, who said the man was arrested at dawn on Monday.

“It was a hot operation. We established through a coordinated work with the DEA, the FBI and the Dominican Republic Police that Peralta was a few days ago in Cartagena and that in the next few hours he would travel to Panama, so we had to act promptly to prevent their escape, “General Sanabria assured the newspaper.

‘César El Abusador’ was a fugitive since August, when in Santo Domingo, a major operation was carried out against drug trafficking that led to the capture of several people.

The Cartagena police chief said that “the Abuser” was in Cartagena for a few days and that in the next few hours he would travel to Panama, so they had to “act quickly to prevent their escape.”
