His words on Thursday

In his last address to the nation as president of the country, Danilo Medina affirmed last night that he leaves the National Palace with his head held high and with the satisfaction of his duty accomplished.

Medina spoke after inaugurating the San Bartolomé Provincial Hospital, in Neiba, and his message was transmitted to the country via television channels and social networks.

“I am leaving with my head held high. I go as I entered. I worked more than 12 hours a day, without a single day off. I gave all my time and my sacrifice to serve the Dominican people ”, assured the president after eight years of government management (2012-2020).

The president detailed what he considers achievements of his management at the level of health, education, employment, electricity, humanization of prisons, economy, tourism, among others; and added that he has complied with his government program.

In addition, he stressed that the public policies that he has applied were adjusted to the needs of the population, so he has not done anything different from what he said he was going to do.
