The authorities of the Dominican Republic do not know if the wife of the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, is in Punta Cana.
Three days ago the version ran that the first lady of Venezuela, Cilia Flores, arrived in the Dominican Republic on Tuesday, April 30, the day that opposition groups took to the streets of Caracas amid a climate of tension, after the uprising of a group of soldiers in support of opposition leader Juan Guaidó and against President Nicolás Maduro.
In that sense, the director of the National Department of Investigations (DNI), Siegfried Wall Perez, said that the arrival of Flowers has not been confirmed.
Similarly, a senior official of the security services and asked for reservations of his name, told Diario Libre, that this is impossible because the Dominican government is unaware of the regime of Nicolás Maduro.
The rumor was put to run after an aircraft from Venezuela landed in Punta Cana.
