402 deaths from COVID-19 and 10,900 positive cases in the Dominican Republic

The Minister of Public Health, Rafael Sánchez Cárdenas, announced that the cases of coronavirus COVID-19 in the Dominican Republic rose to 10,900, 266 for a registry of new infected in one day.

In bulletin number 54 of the National Epidemiology Directorate the death toll was 402, 9 more than the previous day.

The minister reported that on Monday the positive cases of coronavirus were 10,634 and the deceased 393.

The areas with the most cases of coronavirus in the national territory are Santo Domingo de Guzmán, Santiago, Santo Domingo Este, Santo Domingo Oeste and San Francisco de Macorís.

While the municipalities that lead the deaths are San Francisco de Macorís, Santo Domingo de Guzmán, Santiago, Santo Domingo Este and La Vega.
