Different users on social networks report a shooting in Highland Park, where a parade was held for the Independence Day of the United States.

Through videos on Twitter, TikTok and Facebook, several American citizens reported a shooting in Highland Park, Illinois, during the celebration of a United States Independence Day parade.

“The festival has been cancelled. More information will be shared as it becomes available,” officials said.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office and local police are responding to the incident, which is still unknown if there are fatalities, although several injuries have been confirmed in the area.
