The Venezuelan investigative journalist, Casto Ocando, reported this Saturday that officials from the Maduro leadership, Edylberto Molina and Nervis Villalobos, contacted the US federal agents of the DEA to negotiate cooperation conditions to testify against the Los Soles Cartel, led by Nicolás Maduro.
According to Ocando, Nervis Villalobos is currently in custody of the Spanish authorities awaiting authorization to be extradited in the United States. He is accused by the Texas prosecution of “participating in an international conspiracy to distribute cocaine.”
Edylberto José Molina Molina, who was deputy director of the National Guard’s National Anti-Drug Office (ONA) and a military attache in Germany, is accused by the Brooklyn Prosecutor’s Office of participating in the international conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
