As a result of the violation, the Seventh Municipal Criminal Court of Barranquilla ordered, on Tuesday afternoon, to return Elizenis Muñoz, aged 26, back to prison. According to the Office of the Public Prosecutor this is not the first time Elizenis failed to comply with the restriction of house arrest.
It should be remembered that Elizenis Muñoz is accused of belonging to a criminal organization that was involved in the robbery of the house of Senator Barranquilla Armando Benedetti, in events that occurred last April, and she enjoyed the benefit of house arrest.
Elizenis Muñoz in her defense said she was not fugitive or intended to escape, since she had only gone to a nightclub in the city, last Friday, to celebrate her birthday and that she had removed the electronic bracelet, which was placed by Inpec, because It caused allergies.
‘La Diabla’ acknowledged his mistake before the judge and asked for forgiveness during the hearing. However, the judge decided to send her to jail.
