Through a census carried out in Peru, at least 30,000 Venezuelan professionals with intentions to put themselves in the service of this nation were counted, as well as the president of the Venezuelan Union NGO in Peru, Oscar Pérez, through an interview.
He said that this initiative is framed in a possible plan of “productive assimilation”, which would put in contact with professionals in areas of the country where there is a deficit in different areas.
“In this first phase of the registry of professionals we put at the disposal of the government of President Martín Vizcarra more than 30,000 Venezuelan professionals, who know the humanist vision with which the Peruvian president addresses these issues, will surely evaluate its feasibility”, commented Peréz.
In addition, it is said that “stop being seen as a problem” in the country and be able to “add talent, experience and ability to work.”
“We seek to convert, with responsibility and humility, that at first glance seems a great difficulty, before the mass exodus of Venezuelans who has arrived in this country, in an opportunity for sustainable economic growth that Peru has experienced in recent years”, He remarked.
According to figures offered last week, at the VIII Ibero-American Meeting of Migration Authorities (RIAM), held in Lima, in Peru there are currently some 600,000 Venezuelans, a figure that is only surpassed by Colombia, which receives 1.15 million.
