More than 90 thousand Venezuelans have processed the Democratic Responsibility visa

Since April 16, Venezuelan citizens can opt for a democratic responsibility visa to enter Chile; and to date, 90,464 people have requested the document that allows them to remain legally in the South American country.

Of that total, 16,391 (18.1%) have been granted and there are still 11,378 in process, according to figures cited by La Tercera.

Another 18,133 applications have been closed due to lack of background and 44,062, which is equivalent to 48.7% of the total, are pending processing.

The ministry of foreign relations has become the expiration of the passport, the publication of false documents.
