The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed this Sunday, March 15, a total of 152,428 cases of Covid-19 coronavirus, according to provisional figures for a disease that has already reached 141 countries.

In China there have been a total of 80,844 cases.

The UN agency has indicated that there have been a total of 5,720 deaths from this pandemic and has detailed that outside of China, the first epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, born in the province of Wuhan, 61,518 cases and 2,199 have been confirmed deaths in 135 countries.

In the Asian country, the Chinese Ministry of Health has confirmed the death of ten more people due to the new coronavirus, bringing the deceased to 3,199, and the spread of 20 people, which implies a total of 80,844.

For its part, Europe has become the epicenter of the global pandemic, registering more cases and deaths than the rest of the world combined, excluding China. On the European continent, more cases are reported every day than were confirmed in China during the peak of the epidemic, according to the WHO.

Despite these data, the WHO has appreciated that many countries are following the recommended basic points to prepare for and respond to coronavirus. “Most countries now have a national plan; most are taking a multi-sectoral approach and most have the ability to conduct laboratory tests,” according to the organization, which has shipped nearly 1.5 million diagnostic tests to 120 countries. As well as 56 and 28 other protective equipment are on the way.

These are the most common symptoms of coronavirus.

The WHO, after the high cases of contagion of the new coronavirus at a global level, has classified the outbreak as a pandemic.

Common signs of Covid-19 coronavirus include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, and difficulty breathing. In more severe cases, the infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and even death.
