The Lima Group issued a communiqué in which the multilateral governments expressed their solidarity with the millions of Venezuelans who continue for more than 70 hours.

The Governments of Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay and Peru, the members of the Lima Group, stand in solidarity with the millions of Venezuelans who continue for more than 50 hours and that so far has claimed 18 victims in hospitals and clinics as a result of the lack of electricity, in addition to the innumerable mishaps in daily life that add to the hardships that the Venezuelan people have been suffering for years. This situation only confirms the existence and magnitude of the crisis.

We reiterate our support for the President in Charge Juan Guaidó and the National Assembly and ratify our commitment to the Venezuelan people in their search for a solution to the crisis that corresponds to their country.
