UN confirms Michelle Bachelet’s visit to Venezuela from June 19 to 23: She will meet Maduro and Guaidó
The United Nations (UN) confirmed that the United Nations High Commission for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, will visit Venezuela from June 19 to 21.
During his stay in Caracas, the High Commission will meet with Nicolás Maduro. But he is also the maximum responsible for the human rights of the UN. The President of the National Assembly and the Acting President of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, and other legislators, as well as the President of the Constituent Assembly and other representatives.
We also have several ministers and senior officials, as well as the president of the Supreme Court of Justice, the Attorney General and the Ombudsman.
Former President Bachelet will also meet with human rights, and with her family members.
In addition, representatives of trade unions, religious leaders and university authorities. On the last day of his visit, the High Commission will make a final declaration in Caracas, on June 21, at 9:30 p.m.
